Reading and signing copies of Wilhelmina Goes Wandering at Calf Pen Meadow School, in Milford, Connecticut, on October 28, 2022. In 2014, I was named the school's "Favorite Author" and they named their school mascot, a cow, after the "real" Wilhelmina who inspired my book. Calf Pen Meadow is featured in the book as it was one of the sites regularly visited by the real runaway cow  her deer friends who inspired the story.
